Befriending Client Risk Assessment Form
This information can also be used as a risk assessment. This judgement is based on three things, is the:
- service provided by or Befriender appropriate for the potential client’s needs?
- volunteer at risk by dealing with the potential client?
- request within the capacity of our Befriending Scheme?
When a new client is interviewed for the first time, it’s useful to ask certain questions, the answers to which the coordinator can form an opinion from.
Please note: The interview will be carried out in-person. This is a formality with all new clients.

Your data
We will hold your information confidentially. Using the information we will try to match you with a Befriender that appears to suit your preferences. If we find a match we will contact you with the details of the Befriender; you can then decide if this is something you would like to go ahead with or not. If not, we will continue to look for a suitable Befriender.Â
