If you’re finding it hard to afford food at the moment, you’re not alone – and you don’t have to struggle in silence.
Our Food Bank provides emergency food support for individuals and families in Eastwood and North Broxtowe who are going through a difficult patch.
Whether it’s due to rising costs, illness, changes in income, or unexpected circumstances, we’re here to help you get through it.
There’s no judgement and no pressure.
Just practical support, delivered with care and respect.

Am I eligible to use the Food Bank?
You can use our food bank if you’ve been assessed and meet our eligibility criteria.
Whether you’re:
- experiencing temporary financial difficulty
- waiting for benefits or a change in income
- dealing with illness or unexpected costs
- supporting others and finding things a struggle
We’ll always try our best to help, or guide you to the right support.

To arrange a confidential assessment, give us a call or
drop in to the Bureau Monday to Thursday 9am-4pm, or Friday 9am-11am.
What's in a food parcel?
Our food parcels are designed to help cover essential meals and household basics, and are available to those who meet our eligibility criteria.
Where possible, we aim to provide a mix of:
- cupboard staples
- tinned and long-life food
- items suitable for individuals, couples, and families
- support tailored to dietary needs where we can
- pet food and toiletries
The food bank is about more than food. It’s about neighbours looking out for one another, especially when times are tough.

Donating to the Food Bank
We are always grateful for your donations, large or small. Drop them off at any time during our opening hours. All nonperishable food in date as well as new or nearly new unwanted gifts and Bric a Brac for our raffle, tombola stall or to sell on is gratefully received. Cash is also welcome and you can link on our donations page for more information on how do this.
